Visits to Presidential Sites

43rd President, 2001-2009 George W. Bush sites visited:   Bush's Presidential Center is located on the campus of Southern Methodist University, 2943 SMU Blvd, Dallas Texas. Hanging chads 😕 Oval Office The day we were there, there was a temporary exhibit which was full of fascinating artifacts and documents. George and Barbara had a little farewell speech for us when we left. If you visit the gift shop, be aware that you cannot get back into the museum unless you walk outside and go back around through the entrance again. This is a true "Exit Through the Gift Shop." 41st President, 1989 - 1993 George H.W. Bush sites visited: George Bush was born here at 173 Adams Street in Milton, Massachusetts. It's a private residence so we didn't walk around on the property. Bush's "Summer Whitehouse" is a beautiful spot in Kennebunkport, Maine, and is known as Walker's Point. It can be viewed from Ocean Avenue. We visited the George H.W. Bush Library Center and it is fairly interesting, considering his long career in politics. The Center is located on the campus of Texas A & M University, 1000 George Bush Dr W, College Station, Texas. This is a sampling of things we found in the museum.
