Visits to Presidential Sites

                                                                   7th President 1829-1837 Andrew Jackson sites visited: South Carolina claims the site of Jackson's birth, as does North Carolina. South Carolina created a state park that holds a small museum, a Jackson-on-horseback statue, and a marker for Jackson's mother, who was buried in an unmarked grave.                            The Hermitage is a plantation owned by Jackson since 1804, in Nashville, Tennessee, We found his house, a museum and his gravesite.   A bell used to call the house slaves.
